About Me

My name is Camila Riquelme-Tonks and I absolutely LOVE make-up! I never thought growing up that make-up and body art would be something I would be totally passionate about, but there you have it -I love it and I can't imagine life without it.

I am originally from Santiago, Chile. I was studying to become a lawyer in my home country when I came to the United States to learn English and further my education. It was here in the US that I met my two greatest loves: my amazing husband and make-up. Right after we got married, I started studying basic graphic design because I loved working with pictures and photography. It was during this transition that I really discovered how much good make-up makes a picture look nice. I started watching you-tube videos, reading books, and playing around with make-up. I even took an online course to test my skills! It turns out I actually had some talent with make-up, which won me a couple of make-up contests online! These successes encouraged me to pursue a career in make-up.

Now I am trying to start up my own make-up business. I have no idea where my skills will take me, but if it leads me to working with make-up and helping people accentuate their natural beauty, that is all I need to make me happy. So that is my story (in a nutshell) and here is my website with pictures of make-up I have done.
